Hi folks, my GF and I have eloped to Scotland.
we are currently freaking out because we don’t have any witnesses - if any of you lovely people can spare 30mins we need you at the council chambers Wednesday 26 February (tomorrow) at 2pm.
drinks are on me afterwards!!

I’m 30 minutes from Edinburgh. I could arrange childcare and it would be such an honour to be your witness! I’m also 16 weeks pregnant so you’d have extra support! 🥰

The City Chambers will usually provide witnesses if you don’t have any - they’ll just go grab a couple of members of staff from an office. If you call them now and warn them it’ll give them time to sort.

At the one I did one witness didn't turn up but luckily they had a spare.
