Hi we are planning on getting married at the city chambers in Edinburgh on the 7th July at 10.30 am and we are doing it in secret :) as its a second marriage don't want the fuss and then we are flying away in the afternoon on holiday which will turn out to be our honeymoon, so we are looking for 2 witnesses for that morning for an hour at at he most please help....💅✍💑

I wonder if you post nearer the time. I wouldn't want to commit then let you down as I have family responsibilities with elderly fathers. Someone posted on Tuesday for Wednesday this week and found someone.

How on earth do you hire a witness? Not being rude, I am genuinely curious.

I did it for a Mnetter a few years ago, even took The DC (half term)
It was lovely and a real honour

How do you hire a witness? And how can I get a job as one?
When my girls were little they really wanted to be bridesmaids but had no prospects. I seriously thought about trying to advertise their services. Didn't though, so they never did get to be bridesmaids.

Hi yes we did we managed to get 2 people off the street who were the nicest folk from America father and daughter. There were loads of people at that time in the morning it was amazing and we approached them and after a few mins of introductions away we went good luck 🤞
