Jacket / shawl / wrap recomendation for guest

Looking forward to attending a friend's wedding in late March. Planning to wear a turquoise dress with gold shoes and bag, but worried about getting cold - my dress has no sleeves! Any recommendations for something to keep me warm? I'm not a huge fan of boleros as I'm almost 6 foot tall so they look like I've just chosen a short jacket that's too small for me! 😅 Here's a photo of a similar dress / outfit (though mine is more formal and less destination wedding - vibe). Thanks!

I would go for a shawl as it could still be chilly in March!

Nothing that fights with the turquoise and gold.
Personally I would go for shades of turquoise blue/green or navy

Both comments are from me.
I’m hoping others will also reply 😊

In March I’d need thick tights and a proper cardigan and coat with that outfit.

are you sure that you’re not going to be too cold in that outfit with just a shawl?

I'd be looking for a faux fur jacket or similar. My long range forecast is predicting "feels like" temps of around 0 in much of England out to 4th March. I'm not holding hopes for the end of the month!

My bday around then, and it's rarely been warm enough to go out without a jacket on a night out for my bday and it's been below freezing more than once in the last few years...

https://amzn.eu/d/c6Q4Dwd for a cheap example, but there will be plenty of nicer options available.

I like faux fur to get dressed up and be actually warm in a posh frock. If you're too warm, you just take it off.

I feel cold just looking at that dress. You need a proper coat with it, not a shawl. And ideally, you need a dress with sleeves.

I don't know....maybe! It's yhe end of March if that makes it any better!! 😬

It's not that exact dress, but very similar. The dress means a lot to me though as I've just lost a load of weight (more than 3 stone) and part of my motivation was being able to fit into that dress before the wedding. Now I just about can! But you're right - I don't want to freeze!

Maybe I should look at other dresses... and yes, maybe faux fur wraps too!
