I've found the dress - but can't get it in the UK!

Hello all, I've found my dream wedding dress from Kleinfields, but they are only in NYC. I'm absolutely gutted. I've searched high and low for a dress identical or very very similar and I cannot find one anywhere. Been to 4 bridal shops and no hope. My only option is to go bespoke but I simply can't afford that.
I'm hoping someone on Mumsnet has other ideas. Attached photo

It seems quite a generic dress so I am surprised you can't find something similar here?

I looked at it... it's a Pnina Tornai. They have a list of stockists. One is in London if you'd be prepared to travel and they can source it for you. Its called Blush and Ivory. Or alternatively a place in Belfast called Verona Bridal. Bit closer than NYC.

This London bridal shop stocks the designer of that dress. Worth a ring I reckon to see if they have it or can order it.

I bought a dress from US, which was also available in UK but so much cheaper in US. I just paid import duty. But I could try it on in UK, so bit different.

Also if you can't afford it because AFAIK they are very pricey, those Pnina stockists may be able to show you something in a similar style.

It looks like an Israeli bridal design, look up some other Israeli dress designers, you might find one with a UK stockist.

can you do a weekend in NYC?

if it’s your wedding, and it’s what you want, worth it?

it may even be reasonably cost effective with exchange rates etc. probably cheaper than bespoke at least.

I was actually considering this. But it'll be an expensive trip for a wedding dress 🫣

As a big fan of Say Yes To The Dress, I’ve watched a LOT of episodes where people turn up at Kleinfelds with their dream dress in mind, determined they don’t even want to look at another, then try it on and don’t like it after all! So make sure you get to try it on (if you manage to find it) and don’t commit to buy without trying it, just in case 😊 good luck!
