Hi lovely people I would love to pick your brains..

we are looking for a venue which can do a wedding for 20 people. Our main requirement is being in a beautiful landscape because we love nature.

for this we would likely need to travel a few hours and so have been looking at packages to where guests can get accommodation on site or accommodation available nearby.

so far we love Cragwood at Windermere, but does anyone know any other places to visit?

requirements:
20 people
not in a huge hotel - ie a venue suited to the size of our wedding
Good food - if a package then we are wanting options for different people or we would hire food in
option for outdoor ceremony
ideally under 10k.. hopefully

thanks so much

Not sure of your location but we went to a wedding at Crown Lodge in Wye, Kent and the views are fantastic across the downs.

I went to a lovely small wedding in the forest of Bowland, the area was beautiful: wyresdaleweddings.co.uk/

If Yorkshire, take a look at Hazelwood Castle, they are not cheap but they cater for bug and small weddings, the food is divine and they have a number of rooms on site.

I went to a wedding there a few years back and it was beautiful. If it was nearer where I live I would have got married there myself!

Abels harp do lovely weddings and accommodation. They aren't expensive either. I can't seem to link but it is Shropshire

Headlam Hall? - might be pushing the budget depending how much inclusive you want (just one night?).

do you want it to be a legal marriage or just a symbolic ceremony with a separate civil marriage ceremony?
