Please put my mind at ease and tell me you're the bride? 😂

Pearsandpearls · 26/09/2024 20:02

Yes yes I’m the bride :)

Style it in what way? Surely you just wear it?

Fizzadora · 26/09/2024 20:06

It's stunning and doesn't actually need anything

WhiskersPete · 26/09/2024 20:11

It's beautiful but I wouldn't style it with anything as it doesn't need it and would detract from the dress itself.

Alicana · 26/09/2024 20:16

Urban and Scandi seem opposites to me, are you trying to make the dress more urban or more Scandi? Personally, I think it looks like a lovely traditionally classic dress and wouldn’t try and modernise/urbanise/scandify, simple hair and make up and someone to hold an umbrella!!

blueberrycherubandbump · 26/09/2024 20:17

Time of year?

I'd steer clear of a necklace personally. It's a gorgeous neckline and I wouldn't take away from that

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/09/2024 20:19

Urban chic scandi is an interesting dynamic. That’s a stunning dress. I would let it speak for itself, just some jewellery but not too much ( I’d wear dangly earrings and not much else if it was me). Maybe a faux fur cape or something if it’s cold?

bingoitsadingo · 27/09/2024 14:58

The drop earrings in the model photo are gorgeous.

If you don't fancy that, I think a glamourous choker would look great

Make sure your hair is in a style you won't want to fiddle with, because it looks like you won't be able to fully raise your arms with those sleeves

Dogsandnumbers · 27/09/2024 15:00

That dress is stunning and totally my style!

Pearsandpearls · 27/09/2024 19:04

Thank you everyone these are some wonderful suggestions! It’s a June wedding for those asking.

drop earrings for sure.

any ideas around veils?

I was even considering a bird cage! 😱

It's a very modern dress, I wouldn't think a birdcage veil would look right? I would go for a long veil (waist length or longer if you like) in a plain tulle. Maybe with some pretty edging if you want more detail, but I would avoid lace or anything too detailed because the dress is stunning in its simplicity
