Second time around for both of us, so we want low key, but special. Only one parent to consider, our kids, and a small, select group of very special friends, (total 30 people in 7 households. Likely not all would make it anyway!)
i would love to book a small holiday park/set of log cabins/treehouses somewhere beautiful for our exclusive use for a long weekend and ask our guests to please come and have a lovely break but join us for a ceremony/nice meal/party on the Saturday night and call that our wedding. Happy to do the registry office thing first if it were somewhere that wasn’t actually licensed for weddings. Would be looking at Autumn next year.
