Is this ok for a September wedding guest?

Struggling to find an outfit for an upcoming wedding, I have a dress very similar to this one, a good few years old. Same shape, same length, from the same shop. Mines has a bit more embroidery on it and colours a bit brighter but pretty much the same dress with minor differences. I know black for a wedding is generally a no-no but would this dress be ok?

I like it! I don’t think it would upset anyone at a modern wedding

It's lovely, and suitable for a modern wedding, and you will be able to wear it afterwards. But id make it more weddingy with accessories, eg jacket, shoes fascinator

Thank you, definitely a modern wedding, no church etc and I will be wearing my hair up with a fascinator etc I felt it had enough colour that it wasn’t too much like funeral wear but still nervous about black for a wedding 🫣

Personally fine, but consider the culture of the couple getting married. I say this because I get married in 48 hours. Whilst I would be fine with it my sister in law would not. She is Polish and black for a wedding is a big no.
