Getting married tomorrow / elopement

& no one knows 🤣 we’ve been together ages, telling a few adults and 2 children in the morning… Im all churned up inside.

Non traditional, we are arriving together, registry office to make ‘us’ official.

If anyone has done a ‘surprise’ wedding how did you announce it? On social media?

My friend has us all over for her birthday, then the got the cake ... a wedding cake and they told us all they had eloped. If you don't want to celebrate with others, then put up a pic on SM. Suggest telling your close family and friends first though, I'm sure your mum won't be too happy finding out from someone else!

We eloped. I told my mum and dad as I wouldn't have done it if they were upset about it. We had a big family party when we're next all together. I would have liked a simple registry + pub lunch wedding but I wasn't really possible in Sydney (Oz)
