Getting married in Las Vegas - Apostille?

Hey lovely mumsnetters,

Hoping you can help me. We're going to be married in vegas and the wedding planner mentioned an Apostille. I know we go to the bureau for the licence but do I need that too?

Reading so many different things online some say UK do and others say no!

It's doing my head in now! Hope someone can set me straight. Thank you

An apostille is a certificate issued by the government to verify a document to be used in another country like maybe a divorce order or a birth certificate. You need to ask the wedding planner what document needs an apostille.

@Pottingup I did ask and she said she wasn't sure, she's sent a link and it's still really unclear! She doesn't think so, but it could have changed!
Really helpful I know lol!
