First Dance Song- slow then fast

Looking for a first dance song starts slow, then gets faster and more upbeat so that everyone can join in at that point (hubby to be and I don't want all of the attention on our dancing for too long🤣)

Any suggestions?

Put together a medley - 1 minute of your favourite slow song then into a fast one. That's what I did 😁

Pt. 1 is really tuneful, lyrical and slowish. Pt. 2 is classic The Damned!

Skip it all together and just get everyone on the dance floor.

Have a listen to Can't help falling in love by The Once- we had it for the exact reason that it starts slow and then takes off at the chorus as I didn't want to be awkwardly slow dancing for ages and wanted others to join!

Might be outing but we had slow (God Only Knows) follow by We Go Together from the end of Grease and it literally filled the dancefloor.

It's a bit long but maybe Honeycombe from Daisy & The Six or The Chain, Fleetwood Mac (neither very weddingy though!)

This is exactly what I was going to suggest! We went to a wedding where it started with Elvis's version of Can't help falling in love and then went into the UB40 version, where everyone then joined in. We've been to a lot of weddings but if you don't have a 'special' song, this was hands down one of the best first dances.

Guns n Roses Estranged, the soft intro is less than 30 seconds then it's quite upbeat
