RSVP on wedding invitation next day deadline

We got an invitation to our nephews wedding. It was delivered to a son of ours with his invitation with the RSVP date the next day only One out of our six children were invited. Is this cheeky

I guess the bride and groom just want bums on seats.

• How long had your ds had it before he passed it on to you ?
• Did you know about the wedding, and the date ? Only, when my nephews have got married, we knew about it a year or more in advance, and had chatted about bits and bobs to do with it at various times over the months when speaking to them, or to my siblings (their parents). The physical invitation wasn't really needed

Though actually, asking people to RSVP within a day or two of getting the invitation makes a lot of sense - saves all the 'putting it on one side to do at the weekend then forgetting about it'

Well, I guess we need a lot more information. There will be a reason, or logic to that, which you need to be honest about, for anyone to comment on it.

It's not "cheeky" to only invite those you actually want to attend. It may be "cheeky" to expect an invite though.

Is the invited one the eldest? Are the others children, and he's an adult?

It's not "cheeky". They don't really want you there but feel obliged. Just don't go
