If you’ve had a small wedding/ elopement?

Hi everyone, we are currently wedding planning.
We aren’t having any guests due to having minimal family and at that they are all mostly least 5 hours either way of us. We are having 2 separate celebration dinners a few weeks later with each side. So it’s just going to be me and my fiance for our wedding , We still want to have a nice wedding with all the additions eg Big cake, beautiful flowers, photographer. We are just puzzled on where to go to actually get married, we don’t mind travelling. We’re based in the north west, but don’t mind car journeys to get to a Nice destination, we have also considered going abroad ? If you have any recommendations on packages/ venues please let me know? Thanks in advance

We eloped to the City Chambers in Edinburgh. We stayed at the Scotsman and our photographer met us there for some photos. My makeup girl and the photographer were our witnesses and we all walked round to the City Chambers together. It really was the most amazing day.

We live in Spain so decided to drive to Gibraltar, just the two of us. We also considered flying to Edinburgh but were worried we'd not find any witnesses!

We used a wedding planner in Gibraltar who arranged witnesses so everything was really straightforward.

We stayed for 3 nights, and it was lovely.

Another city Chambers Edinburgh elope here! We stayed in an air bnb though. It was amazing, the city is great. We had the best time. Was the perfect wedding for us. Our witnesses were the photographer and her dad!

We eloped to Traquair House in Scotland, they did an elopement package. The only additional we paid for was celebrant and photographer. Oh outfits of course!
I searched loads of castles/posh houses in Scotland to find the right one.
