Just put dress deposit down- why do I feel anxious?!

I just tried on the most beautiful dress. It wasn't what I was thinking I'd end up with. But it really is stunning.

Deposit down. I've come home and looked at the pictures my mum took of me in it, and I don't like the way it looks in the photos 🫠

I loved it when looking in the mirror. But now I have real anxiety that it isn't 'the one' after seeing my mums photos of me in it!!

Is this normal!? I can't do much about it now. It was very expensive!!

I think how you feel is much more important than the quick snaps taken in the shop. Can you go and try it on again just to reassure yourself?

Stop looking at the pictures! When I bought mine the assistant told me she advised against taking photos because they’re never good quality and always leave brides second guessing. I ignored her, FMIL took pictures and now I look back at the dress and think hmmmm…

go back to the feeling!

See you're going back. See how you feel. How much deposit did you put down as that may be transferable to another dress in same shop. But yes to photos taken by friends etc. All you need is them.to be smaller than you and it will juts look rubbish. Go and remind remind yourself why you put deposit down and how you felt.
Enjoy.
Dont take a camera 😁

I have just got back and ordered it! I tried others on just to make sure and it's definitely the one. Phew!

The photos my mum took were so unflattering as she was sat down and I was on the pedestal so just an awful angle haha

Phew! That is good news. Trust your gut not a quick snap ☺️

I felt EXACTLY the same and stuck with it. I thought I’d be in a lace, long sleeve frock but ended up with simple satin number but it was sleeveless and ballgown.

Just had my wedding on the weekend and so glad I stuck with it! After some fittings it was perfect.
