DIY Centrepiece help required....

Hi All,
We get married this summer and to keep costs low I am doing my own centrepieces. Having artificial flowers for the ceremony due to my hay-fever but promised fh we could have real for reception.

I plan on doing something like image 1. Possibly with a couple flowers in the larger vase or adding some gypsophila to them. Not sure yet exactly. We have baby pink for the bridesmaid dresses, sashes for on the chair covers(which are white) and table runners etc, however I think that a pale pink like the flowers shown in one of the other pictures would look lost in this.

Should I use something like the deeper pink for this? Possibly with a white or lighter pink in with the tall one or even just tone it down with a white floating candle. Then comes the decision of colour for petals. Any ideas welcome.

Finally, on the top round table I am planning on something different. A white lantern with a tall pilar candle inside and either eucalyptus or flowers around it in memory of someone we recently lost. The question is do you think it will work? Image for rough idea. Never thought I would stress this much this early about flowers. I normally avoid flowers.

Hi, are you buying the vases for the centrepieces? That might work out quite expensive. to get back to your question though, I don’t think a pale pink would be lost, but if it were me I’d use a few different shades of pink along with the white, plus gyp and eucalyptus ☺️ I think that would look pretty.

Oh and I think the lantern is a very nice idea too ☺️

Hi vases were purchased online. Found them at a good price. Have got the flower frogs and Waterbeach for the bottom so now it's just filling them. The wreath may be more complicated than I first thought as to get flower foam the correct size could be an issue working out how big it needs to be to sit around it.

I'm considering admiting defeat on that one and asking a florist for a price on that one centrepiece. Might go in with the lantern I have and say I plan to use it for top table as having round ones, could they come up with a couple ideas on how it would look best and a price.

Not sure on filling the lantern with flowers or putting flowers around it. Not allowed candles I'm our venue so have got battery floating ones. Holding off on the lantern one until I know how it will be used.
