How many day guests did you have & how many came only at night?

I got married at 4pm in the afternoon with 20 guests and went back to our wedding reception at around 4.30pm where 180 guests were waiting to great us so we only had one do really! Not a fan of day/night guests - often at weddings as many people that you’ve invited for the evening have already left as they’ve had enough for the day so it always seems a bit disjointed!!

None for me either. I’m having a 4pm ceremony and the wedding breakfast will be at 6pm so no need for evening buffet apart from cake that will come out around 9 for anyone who is peckish. Being an evening guest is weird, you’ve missed the best bit!

Got an open house for the church plus Prosecco/elderflower and cake, expecting 150-200, many are church members. Then 40 for a meal, mostly family who are travelling a distance, then open house for the evening but not expecting most the members of congregation to come thankfully. Laid back venue!

We had a small wedding - just 22 of us including me and DH. Ceremony then drinks/cake/photos at my parents house after, then a lovely meal at a local restaurant with rooms so we stayed over.

We then had 2 separate parties. One the next day for about 50 - old family friends etc. Then another one also for about 50 friends and colleagues when we got back from our honeymoon.

We also got married at 4pm and i dislike the day/night guest thing. We had 120 invited to the church and then all straight to the reception.

We’re getting married this year and there will be 11 guests, provided all can make it. It’s a ceremony followed by meal. Not sure where we’re having the meal yet…it’s extremely informal!
