I'm in the process of planning my wedding which is taking place next year and want some advice on if I'm being too picky or if we can make it work!!
We're getting married at 1230 and there are 5 of us having hair and make up.
My dream is for my own stylist to do our hair (or at least mine and my bridesmaids) which they can do but not until 8am. Hair is going to take no more than an hour (they're giving us a person each) and the plan was to then go to the venue from there .
I spoke to a make up artist today who said it would be really tight on time which I totally understand to get everyones make up done in the 3.5 hours we have left! Would it be totally unreasonable and unfair for me and my bridesmaids to have our hair done at the salon and my mum and future mother in law with the make up artist at the venue? We'd then follow and meet at the venue with just the three of us left for make up.
It's just the three of us anyway having our hair put up as both mums have shorter hair and so don't need much doing to theirs.
The mua was trying to get be to book hair and make up with her but I'm really keen on having my stylist do my hair.
Am I being too fussy or would this work. I'm also not familiar with how long bridal make up takes - the artist said 45mins per person which seems reasonable (although two of the bridal party will be 13 so not sure they need that long) but wondering what everyone else's experience of it might be as I want to follow the experts advice but did feel slightly pushed about taking on the full package!
