Hi everyone, my husband, baby and I have been invited to an Indian Hindu wedding in may. The bride is one of my husbands uni friends so I don’t know her well but we got along well on the occasion I met her (our wedding).
I’m just looking for some advice on what to wear? I feel with not knowing her too well and her busy with all the planning I can’t ask her.
I’m really looking forward to it and the chance to experience a different culture and a chance to dress up! I don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb wearing something I would normally so would like to take the opportunity to wear something different! But I also don’t want to look like I’m trying to hard when I don’t really know what I’m doing! So any help would be much appreciated! I’m not necessarily asking for help with Asian wear, just whatever you think would be appropriate for the day

For help, I’m 5’4, size 18/20. I’ve got a big chest and hips and a small waistline. Also quite comfortable to wear most things
