Liverpool Wedding

I'd like a wedding that I feel doesn't exist 🤣. My partner is from Liverpool so we want to get married there.

It needs to be very low key. Second time for both of us and I really don't want a fuss. We have 3 kiddies (all girls) between us and they are so excited at the thought of a wedding so I feel like we need some sort of compromise.

I would like a late afternoon/evening ceremony. Tops 30 people there. Then heading to a nice restaurant with a private dining room. Would like the feel you get in the Ivy but there isn't one in Liverpool.

Does anyone have any ideas? From south wales myself so not overly familiar with what's about available.

You can get married in the Liver Building ( Liver Suite). Don't know if you could call it low key though.

There are plenty of restaurants with private dining ranging from Oh me oh my to Gaucho. Depends on the date though and the nearer to Christmas they will be booked up!

The Panoramic has a private dining area and incredible views over the city.
I haven't eaten a meal there, only afternoon tea which was fantastic, but I am always hearing great reviews about the food.
Pricey though.

Hope Street Hotel is wonderful - my favourite place to stay in the city. Could be lovely for a wedding reception.

But I still think the Palm House would be the more magical wedding venue!

You can get married in the fabulous St George’s hall which is actually the registry office ,
great building but the two weddings I went to were v low key

restaurant bar and grill has a private dining room
lovely food not stuffy , but posh enough for an occasion
