Anyone else getting married this weekend? 29/7

We are just a couple of days away from the big day and here I am, full of a cold! My head hurts, my throat hurts, I’m switching between hot and cold. It hurts when I cough and it hurts when I sneeze.

I have felt this coming for a couple of days, and I knew it would happen with working in a school. Week 1 of the holidays is time for me to be poorly. I was extra careful, I have tried to not stress, there had been disaster after disaster but I have stayed positive. Today is a very busy day, but it’s all ok.

I also need to look for some clear umbrellas that I can collect today as rain is forecast.

Anyone else getting married this weekend, could do with the moral support 😂.

It sounds as though you are in the eye of the storm of your cold today. It doesn’t matter if things need doing, you need to rest.

Early to bed and resting tomorrow as well, lots of sleep and paracetamol. Early to bed Friday night as well and hopefully you will wake up feeling brighter Saturday morning.

No alcohol until the big day

I’m not getting married this weekend but I was the same the week before my wedding 20 years ago! Full of cold and sore throat, and then I slipped off a pavement the night before and turned my ankle 🙈 I was in agony! But the day of the wedding the excitement took over and I don’t remember the cold or the ankle…and you have another day yet. Rest as much as you can (easier said than done I know!) and I hope you have a wonderful day x

Been up a few hours already. We leave in about hours and we have so much still to do.
