Hi All,

Just wanna know what are your thoughts on confetti?! Do I purchase confetti for every single guest or is 1 confetti cone per couple acceptable?

Don’t the guests provide the confetti? Never heard of the bride doing it.

I thought confetti was a thing of the past?

Buy rose petals from Amazon (sold as pet food, much cheaper). Fill little bags or cones with it, as many as you want, the bags are huge.

I would check the venue allows it as it's banned at a lot of places, including some churches.

Hi @Stressed2023Bride we provided the confetti, if there is about 50 guests i would get about 30 little boxes.

You’ve checked that it’s allowed before you start thinking about how it’s organised?

I have recent got married and purchased 25 cones and filled them with biodegradable confetti. We had 56 guests and the couples easily split it between themselves. Do check with the venue if you can use it though and the type they accept (otherwise you may be charged with the cleaning fee).

Check with venue first
If they are particular about what is used then you should provide it. One box each or you look tight.

I’ve just ordered some cones and petals from eBay. I wasn’t sure the etiquette either but I’d like to have photos with it so it’s only fair I offer. If it doesn’t get used, it will be offered to the wedding taking place after us.

My venue has suggested that one cone per couple is plenty. Some people (usually older relatives) still often bring their own, and it us usually the female contingent of the wedding who tend to throw, men tend not to get involved in it as much apparently

Check with your venue - we only allow petals. The biodegradable stuff doesn't degrade quick enough
