Town hall wedding cost

Hello ladies my and my partner planning to get married by next year. It will just be a private wedding as its just his mum, and my workmate 1 couple. So here is my question how much will it cost for just a wedding in town hall. Our budget is just £600 only for wedding registration in town hall and if there professional photography included that would be perfect. We live in north west part of england. Thank you. I would like to know ladies if how much it cost for just a town hall wedding. And no guest at all just his mum, and workmate they are couple. We dont want to spend more money in wedding as we wanted to enroll ourselves for driving lesson. So we only have £600 max budget for our wedding. Tips and ideas and for those who recently got married with same sitatuon like me id like to hear your stories. Thank you

Check the town hall website where you want to get married, they have the prices there. Ours was £600 for the ceremony but in a big room. Look for a student photographer who will be cheaper

It cost about £250 for the ceremony IIRC and £70 for the registration appointment. I have a professional photographer coming who does different packages and her cheapest is 2 hours for about £300 so it may be possible on that budget but not including any outfits or wedding breakfast etc. you may not be bothered about those things.

Check the town hall website. My local (London) one is up to £700 on a Saturday for the grand room, but they also do a basic basic one for £57 for local residents only- catch is there's v v v limited slots for the basic one.

Check your council's website - there are some statutory fees but it comes to less than that. We had a church wedding that cost less than that!
