Disappointing bridesmaid dress

Getting married in just less than 3 months time, I went with my 2 bridesmaids today so that they could try on their dresses that had been ordered for them. When they were ordered their measurements were taken & they asked them what dress size they normally wear.
Turned up today and my younger bridesmaids (mid teen)dress is massive it needs nearly every part of it altering which obviously comes at a significant cost. The other dress is mostly ok just needs some small alterations.
I don't know if I'm justified in going back to them and saying what was the point in measuring her if the dress they've ordered is so wrong and to be cross that I now how to pay to fix it. Thoughts?

Of course you're justified. Why didn't you sat something at the time, when the dresses were getting tried on. Unless BM has lost a significant amount of weight, then this is their cock up to be fixed at their own cost, surely?

It was tricky as the time as the owner was dealing with a bride so we were with the Saturday girl who was very much there just to oversee things and I was also trying not to project onto my bridesmaid how disappointed I was. It was only when we left & looking at the pictures I took that it's so obvious how ill fitting it is!
