Getting married very soon. When we got very serious started calling him my partner vs boyfriend but would occasionally use boyfriend and it didn’t feel weird.
Now we are engaged I use partner of fiancé depending as feels fitting.
Was with work colleagues and accidentally called my fiancé my boyfriend 🤣. Corrected myself as it felt absolutely ludicrous having been together several years, share a home, tried for kids and wedding planned!
Told my fiancé and he said - who’s your boyfriend?
