Edinburgh or York register office?

We are south of both, so York is considerably nearer. Can’t decide which. Been to both. Hiring photographer to take some lovely pictures too. Wedding will be in autumn if the season makes a difference.

Both sound lovely. Have you planned what you're doing afterwards?

I got married in Edinburgh. I loved it and there's lots of places for photo opportunities. I haven't been to York's but have been to York and I imagine where it is might be as picturesque as Edinburgh so I'd go for wherever is easier for you to get to!

We got married 5th January in Edinburgh. We live closer to Edinburgh. The registry office is just off the Royal Mile across from Cathedral. We heard the bells ringing during the service and it was snowing. Photos in the Royal Mile and Calton Hill. I loved it.

South queensferry - just outside of Edinburgh- is beautiful and much better value.
