In a bit of a pickle!

Me and my fiancé are due to give our notice of marriage on the 12th jan this year, the issue I have is that I need my passport which is fine, but for proof of address I need a bank statement and my driving license- I have a license and I can get a bank statement , but the home addresses will show differently because we've literally just moved house and my driving license hasn't been changed just yet but I've changed it on my bank statement as it's online so quicker.
Will they accept the 2 different addresses under the circumstances or would I be better off changing my bank statement back to match my license for the time being?

Tia!

You need to change them to where you actually live. You can’t use an address you no longer live at as proof of address!

I would change your licence now. When I had to renew mine it was back in 3 days so you should be fine.

Also, you must be able to use something else as proof of address, otherwise only people who can drive could get married! Isn’t there something else?

Thank you for your reply! Ahh okay so should be back in time.. postal strikes permittingConfused
You can provide 2 docs, and they can be bills etc too but I'm not the homeowner so no bills or anything come in my name.
That's helpful though thank you!

Council tax? You should be on there.
