Hello
Anyone had an October church wedding?
I know traditional is spring and summer but the cost shot up!
Was it too cold or was it autumn pretty.
Based in the UK
Thank you Smile

We did. Start of October a few years ago. Church was fine but the weather was terrible. Chilly and wet. The day before was gorgeous, beautifully sunny and warm. So it's a bit of luck really. Still had an amazing day though.

I think it can get too hot now in the summer sometimes. I would have hated to be in a Wedding Gown in the heat we've had this summer.

Just had an October wedding, it was dry for the day but had rained all morning so it was a bit grey and the ground was wet and muddy. The day before was absolutely glorious sunshine, as was a friends wedding that I went to one October.
My thinking was that you could pay a fortune for July and it still pour down, whereas it was half the price to have it in October

I had an October wedding - it was showers and sunshine! Was a lovely temperature. I did get caught in the rain though! But the photos had all been taken at that point thankfully.
