What songs have you chosen for walking down the aisle and the reception?

Our first dance was to Shining Light by Ash.

We signed the wedding certificate to There Is a Light That Never Goes Out by The Smiths.

And I had one schmaltzy moment walking down the aisle to Kissing You by Des’ree ☺️ It was a gift to my teenage self - I’d planned since being 13 to walk down the aisle to it as I’d been obsessed with Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo & Juliet.

The funny thing is though, the song that makes us both the soppiest about our wedding when we hear it is Talk Tonight by Oasis. It wasn’t played during any significant moment but it was a moment we had in the evening when that was playing that makes my heart still skip a beat.

We were 20, so we were a starry eyed pair - we still are, actually! 😁

I am walking down the aisle to songbird by Fleetwood Mac, we are signing the register to balcony scene from baz luhrmans Romeo and Juliet and marriage proposal from the young Victoria. We are walking out to concerning hobbits from lord of the rings.
