Wedding dres code morning suits ?

Planning a wedding where the dress code will be morning suits. Most of the guests attending will have a morning suit already but I’m sure there will be a few that don’t and will be happy for them to wear what ever they want. How can I put on the dress code morning suits with out making the guests that don’t already have one feel like they have to go and get one. I don’t want any of the guests spending loads of money to attend. I need to word the Dress code

Surely you don't have a dress code then? If you put morning suits but then no morning suits needed if you don't have one it kind of negates the point.

Dress code: morning/lounge suits.

Though I'm confused - you said the dress code will be morning suits. Except it won't be will it!

Thank you yes I get that I really would love all my guests in morning suits but I know it wouldn’t be a financial option for a few guests but morning/ lounge suits sounds perfect

You can't really put a dress code on the invitation if it is flexible in that way as you might make some guests feel uncomfortable. The worst outcome would be to plant an idea that you expect people to spend money to attend your wedding.yYou can possible let it be known informally that you would like men to wear morning coats if they have them or lounge suits if not I suppose if you happen to be talking to your guests.Men of my parents generation and to some extent my generation would have worn a morning coat if they thought the wedding was in any way formal eg church ,in the way that many women wear/ wore hats.

"Dress Code:
We'd love you to wear your best clothes for the occasion and look forward to seeing you in your morning suits, lounge suits, gowns and floaty cocktail dresses!"
