Mother of the Bride Crisis

DD had v low-key wedding in lockdown. We are having a celebration on the B Hol and I have bought a new dress as it's a different season. The bridal party are wearing their original rigouts (no bridesmaids at the wedding)

I wore a fascinator, MOTG didn't and we had decided not to bother this time. However it appears that a number of my friends have enjoyed chosing head gear for the wedding and I don't want to look as though I havent made an effort.
Two questions;

1. Would you bother looking for a fascinator / flowery thing to clip in your hair (for MOTG too)
2. My Dress is lilac with white jacket. Is it OK for me to wear white head gear - its much easier to match?

White sounds good. Just ask MOTG if she wants you to look for one for her too.

You could go with something that complements the lilac, such as a darker purple? Especially if you have fair hair.
