Honeymoon Mauritius

I’m wanting to go on Honeymoon the day after my wedding.
I need to book the honeymoon first.
We were thinking end of august. Has any been to Mauritius in August? What is the wether like?

Weather Is best there October to December, August is warmish with rain.

It’s the equivalent of a Spain holiday for South Africans, the Seychelles is better imo.

Is your Wedding definitely got to be in August? If so, you might need to plan your Honeymoon on where is good at that time of the year.

I went in july

1. The weather was good for me and DH but DH hates real heat and we dont really sit on the beach for long, it was c 22/23 all week so warm enough for the beach but not for some i guess, sea was warm and no rain. It got a bit cloudy so if you like to spend all the day at the beach probably not a great time to go.

1. Location - we went post safari which was ideal, if just going to mauritius alone it's a bit boring imo. You cant really wander around the island, the main town is not that nice. You can hike though and the sea activities are good but there's better places to go to.

1. I would go again but probably more to have an easy beach holiday with kids, i preferred thailand as an "adventure" destination
