Notice of marriage

Am giving notice of marriage this week and don’t have an original bank statement as all my statements are now online/ paperless!
i don’t have any other POA as all bills are registered with hubby to be. Our appt is on Thursday and it’s now too late to order a paper statement from my bank as it could take up to ten days. I can’t seem to find anything online, but does a printed PDF downloaded from online banking count as an original? I obviously have my passport etc and birth cert. I’m so stressed. Please help

Not sure about bank statement but what about driving licence or is your name not on your Council tax bill? Maybe phone the registry office. Ours was really helpful and accommodating. They might let you give notice and provide the bank statement afterwards if you don't have anything else.

Thanks, but all the bills are registered in his name. She has came back today saying printed bank statements ‘should’ be fine. I don’t have a driving licence, only a passport.
lets hope ‘should’ means ‘definitely’! Haha

Yes the one's you print online does count as original

Both your names should be on council tax. Everything else can just be in 1 name

They don’t accept joint bills - we each need to have an independent document and the only thing I have is bank statement

If you go into your bank and have the teller print a copy of your bank statement it will have your address on them. Ive had to do this a few times.

Thank you all for your helpful responses. Just an update in case useful - I printed my bank statement out on a computer at the Post Office (from a PDF I downloaded from online banking) turned out all that panic over nothing - they accepted it just fine and I didn’t need the original statements from the bank - a print out was fine.
