Hi there,

I'd be very grateful if you could answer these 5 simple questions. Please also feel free to include any gripes or issues you have had with a photographer. Maybe you had a bad experience, please share.

Cheers,

Graeme

Well, I haven't got married recently, but as you are unanswered, I will kick you off with:

  1. There will be a range, but not particularly. I mean, it seems a massive amount of money to be paying out, but there is a lot of work goes in that you don't see (plus skills, equipment, responsibility, etc)

  2. We had very little money when we got married, so quite a lot.

  3. Yes, our photos / albums were lovely

  4. Yes - well, it is what it is. IT seems a lot to pay out, but that is what wedding photographers cost, and it was important to me to have a set of quality photographs / a record of the wedding day

  5. Neither really. 500 is completely OTT and unnecessary, but if I am paying a professional to do something that - on the surface, with everyone having instant digital photography to hand nowadays, then I would expect to see a difference between the professional photographs and everyone else's "snaps".

Thanks very much for taking the time respond. It's very much appreciated.

Please share? I wasn't aware that this was a function on MN.
