Hey guys,
For various reasons we had to book our wedding ceremony at a specific date and for equal reasons had to wait before we gave notice - our council is a bit rubbish and only had an appointment that’s 30 days exact before our ceremony. We have tried to contact the council many times- to no avail. I am just trying to understand, is there a chance council can be late with issuing notice that’s due 28 days later ( providing paperwork is there etc etc ) just because … well it’s the council; or is it automatic ?
