Would these shoes work with this wedding dress?

I'm wearing a champagne/gold wedding dress that's tea-length, with amber earrings and a matching hairpiece. I've fallen in love with these blue silk shoes but I'm wondering if they'd clash with the gold and amber colour palette. Do people think it could work? They're from a shop in the USA so I can't easily try them on.

Both the shoes and your dress are gorgeous! I think they might look nice together, particularly as the lace/beaded bit on the front of the shoe is slightly warmer toned to tie in with the gold of your dress. If not these, have you looked at Rachel Simpson shoes? I wore the Rachel Simpson mimosa shoe for my wedding. She does a range of colors and they are comfortable too.

it really depends on the shade of each. from my first glance at the dress on the web site the pink peach undertones and the color of the shoes does not work for me.

I've had a look at Rachel Simpson shoes and they're gorgeous. Some of the heels are a bit high and spindly for me (I'm 5'9" and don't have the greatest balance!), but they make them in my size, which is amazing - I don't know what's going on but lots of shoe shops seem to be doing reverse vanity sizing and labelling UK 8s as 9s. I might order these just to try on and see if they work.

The dress colour in the photos is a stronger yellow than it is in real life, but I don't think I dare take the risk and order the shoes from the US. They're pricey and if they don't match I won't get the import fees back. :(

Or if they are not comfy....

Those rachel simpson shoes are lovely. I wore rachel simpson shoes when I got married, a word of warning the soles were really slippy.
