3 years planning, 3 cancelled dates and finally I am getting married in 8 days!!!

Tell me all the things I might have forgotten! It’s last minute panic time!

Whoop Whoop! Congratulations OP! It's 6 days for us but we haven't had to reschedule, I can't imagine the rollercoaster you've been on.

Lists are your friend! I have 'to take to the venue' and 'to bring back from the venue' and 'overnight bag' and 'still to do' and 'still to pay' and 'who to thank' and more...

Yay a date twin!!! I'm getting married next Saturday too! Also had to cancel twice due to covid. Can you believe it's actually happening this time?!

I've spent the last few days putting together my bridesmaids gift bags, creating a playlist for the drinks reception and buying the last few odds and ends. Do you have anything left to do?

I think I’m now done!

Last minute meltdown as the place cards arrived and there was a whole table missing! They are now being sent special delivery to the venue and will arrive on the wedding day which is cutting it fine but hopefully will be ok.

I see your name cards and I raise you no cake! We ordered a 5 tier cheese instead of an actual cake and it's not arrived. Tomorrow is last chance, otherwise I've a friend on standby to go clear Waitrose out of cheese Confused

Our confetti hasn't survived in storage and is now brown mulch so I've had to order more, which I'll have to stuff into 60 little bags.

Although I think no cake might be the winner

We had a new disaster today. Collected the hire suits from Moss Bros, ordered 6 months ago and they measured the wedding party. 11 year old child been given a mens size 38 jacket and waistcoat! Claimed they couldn’t swap them in time, out of stock in the hire range but oh look we have the sizes you need and actually ordered for sale in store. Bloody con artists they are! So had to buy his suit to ensure he matches the rest of the party.

Anything not done now isn’t being done. I’ve had enough!

@Madwife123 It arrived in the nick of time! The Camembert was a bit ripe after 4 days in transit but otherwise no harm done!
