Wed2b bridesmaid dress sizes

I've been asked to bridesmaid for someone and they've said we'll get our dresses from wed2b. I'm a bit concerned as I'm a size 24 which basically restricts us to 1 style. But now I'm worried in case they run small so I won't even fit in that.

So does anyone have experience with their bridesmaid dress sizing? Especially anyone on the larger size.

I've got time to lose a bit of weight but I don't want to rely on that seeing as I've been trying to do that for years now with limited success.

I had a wed2b bridesmaid dress a couple of years ago, they were fairly true to size rather than running big or small.

There are Wed2b shops in most cities, you could just nip in yourself and try one on on your own if you’d feel more comfortable, rather than committing to ordering.

I wore a wed2b Laila bridesmaid dress last year. The sizing was pretty true to size.

But definitely try and find somewhere to try one on.

Oh and I tried on the Rosa style dress which is the style available in size 24 - the fit on that was similar to the one I bought in the end.

Thanks both - I will definitely be trying on before buying, just trying to decide if I need to go and try on alone before I go with the bride and other bridesmaids

DD went to Wed2be trying on dresses. They openly tell you that 'couture' dresses are size smaller that high street sizing. They all came up on the snug size.

I bought my wedding dress from them, and it was definitely true to size if not a little loose - I was a 20/22 at the time, and the 20 needed a touch of taking in at the waist.

Don't worry, they are very lovely and decent in there, especially with plus size ladies.

Have you checked your measurements against their sizing chart? I found their sizing to run large against high street for example size 24 in newlook is 50,44,53 compared to wed2b with 52,45.5,57.

I've been a bridesmaid and a bride buying from wed2b and the consultants are always so lovely and supportive. The dresses do also have some tolerance in the seams so if its snug a good seamstress will be able to get it fitting comfortably.
