Registry office problems

So me and my fiancé are trying to book our wedding but the registry office are impossible to get hold off, every email I send as the phone lines just ring out gets an automated reply saying we will get back to you within 2 weeks.

Did anyone else have this problem?

Yeah they're still a bit like Fort Knox post covid (or ours is, so inconvenient). Personally I'd go down and try see someone in person.

Dd went in person. They are very busy atm. If you call in you get a lot more sense re booking your appointment to give notice. Don't forget to get your id together. Passport is easiest but you can take birth certificates but you need your mother's too!
