Considering getting married in Vegas both DP and I have been married before so do not wish to have a big 'do' in the UK. Any hints/tips gratefully received. Thanks

I highly recommend it! Just you two or with a small group?

Did it seven years ago and haven't regretted it for a second!

Have you ever been to Vegas? It will be easier to choose a venue etc if you know the place.

We got married in the sky bar of the Mandarin Oriental, then had a reception party
in a wraparound suite in the Cosmopolitan. We had Elvis take us for a ride in his pink Cadillac for photos!

What specifically do you need advice about?

I did it, with 'Elvis' and a pink caddy. It was great fun. Numerous wedding venues or chapels to chose from. I chose everything on-line. Only had 2 guests so just had dinner in a restaurant and a spot of roulette, in my wedding dress!

Thanks so much for your responses. Will just be the 2 of us. Never been to Vegas so open to any suggestions as to where to stay and ceremony suggestions.

It really depends on your budget OP. You don't have to stay in the big fancy hotels but they are great. I'd recommend a small wedding chapel over a hotel wedding just for making it seem more wedding like. I moved hotels and stayed at 3 during our stay, just to get a better feel of the place. We also did the helicopter into the Grand Canyon with a champagne lunch, out of this world. There is so much choice and it depends what you're in to.
