Hat or a veil?

I'm choosing between a hat and a veil for my upcoming wedding. I've got a sample of the veil edging and it looks and feels really nice - there's a bit of weight to it and the pearl beading matches my dress. The hat has also got pearl detailing and the style it feels a bit more 'me' than a traditional veil. Which one do people think would go best with the gown?

Hat. Do what feels more you.

Hat is more unusual but if it's more you then absolutely go for it.

You have an absolutely beautiful dress, and look lovely. Congratulations

Both ate beautiful and both go with the dress. I'd personally go with the veil - when else will you get to wear one but on your wedding day?

I don’t like either, sorry.

The hat in particular would look most odd with a wedding dress.

Veil.

The bow on the hat isn't very nice. The veil is lovely.

I actually think the hat is really nice but I am one of those people who thinks the veil makes the bride, so I would say veil

I don't feel the edging on the veil goes with the dress, sorry.
And I think the hat goes even less.
The dress is a thing of exquisite beauty and I think a simpler veil with a bit of frippery only where it fixes to the head would work better.
