Brides wearing black

Would you ever wear black to your own wedding and what would you think is someone did?

I’ve found a beautiful dress, obviously it’s my decision and I can do what I want, but I’m scared I’ll regret it and my photos won’t look like ‘wedding photos’ or it’ll look too try hard (it isn’t, I just love black dresses!)

I've seen some stunning pictures of brides in black dresses.
During the Steam punk fashion height especially.
What style of dress were you thinking of having?

Not personally but if you like it go for it! A friend got married in a burgundy dress.

Have you looked at rock my wedding, rock n roll bride etc. for some ideas of what pictures will look like?

I think with great flowers and a veil you'll still look like a bride.

I know someone who wore a huge black wedding dress, with a lot of red roses and Ivy In her bouquet.

To be honest, it looked like an over the top weird funeral but she loved it and that’s the main thing.

At the end of the day, it’s your wedding so wear what your happy with.

No it’ll be registry office and about 30 guests. That’s all we’ve booked so far, we have no idea what the plan is with wedding breakfast but as small and cheap as possible is the plan! We’re not really weddingy type people, we just want to be married.

A friend of mine wore black & looked fab. As she said, she wanted to look like Audrey Hepburn & not like a meringue!

My dream wedding dress is a black dress (sadly the designer went out of business). If I can't get someone to replicate it it is what I will be wearing.

If it’s your style you will feel and look amazing. No point wearing white if it’s not you. Go for it & post a pic of the dress. Congratulations x

Just a thought ... we're having a black tie wedding which opens up the door to any colour wedding dress but especially black.
