How does it work when you have

Hardly any boobs and want a really pretty wedding dress ? I don't want to look like a 13 year old.
I'll need to wear a decent push up bra but most the dresses the back is too low so the band will show.
I'm an A cup so really very small chested but they can look good in a decent push up bra.
Please advise 😩

I wore a stick on bra and it was really good & lasted & ive since worn it for other events.

Choose your style carefully! I had a boned bodice but pleats across the bust and a little frill thing on a sweetheart neckline (not explaining that well as it sounds hideous 🤣) but try lots of styles and you’ll find something flattering.

Yes @howdoesitworkwhen they really do stay stuck - mine lasted all day and I was last to bed at 3am. I then took them on honeymoon and wore them on a couple of nights and never any issues whatsoever. Not uncomfortable at all to take off either. Would really recommend. I bought a carry case to transport it.

I think you need to buy for the shape you have.

A strapless straight thing is never going to look great with no cleavage, and (if you’re like me) no amount of chicken fillet will give you something that simply isn’t there.

But, you can look amazing in more floaty/ deco/ Grecian styles, that might look a tad matronly in women with bigger boobs.

This was my problem - no boobs and pretty straight up and down. I ended up with a dress with spaghetti straps, a deep sweetheart neckline and a low back (although not backless) so no chance of a bra. It has internal boning and cups already sewn in so, in theory, all good.

Unfortunately even in my ordered size, the bust was massive. The bra cups were stiff and they stuck out (unfilled) so I had lots of gaping and zero shape or support. I stupidly didn't think about it at the time and I've since been so anxious about whether or not it could be fixed.

I had my first alterations appointment last week and it's amazing how the dress fitted once pinned. Complete transformation. It actually looked like I filled the dress and had a nice, natural and perfectly proportioned grown up shape (not my usual child like appearance) as well as feeling totally secured and supported. It also gave me hips and a bum - miracle!

Definitely try some dresses and perhaps speak with a seamstress to see what's possible before buying. I'm sure you'll have more options than you think.

I think strapless have quite a niche boob size they really work for. Strapless draws attention to that area and can with too little or too much boob they're not great. I'd look at other styles as a PP says. With small boobs you'll be able to go for something lovely and delicate like these.. (none of these people look 13 IMO! )

I'm going dress shopping next week (yay) so I will try all different kinds in and see what happens ! Not liking the idea of being brakess I'll feel naked and flat 😆

Be aware OP that lots of wedding dresses already have cups in them and don't work with a bra under them at all, but honestly you will be amazed what proper fitting can do, so don't be alarmed or disheartened if what you're trying on doesn't look right to start with.
