Make up and hair

How early in advance did people book make up and hair? I get married next october and it suddenly dawned on me i've not got a bloody clue when to book these things!

No harm in getting it booked now. October is usually a slightly less busy time for weddings (ex registrar here) but due to covid delaying so many weddings it has been busier recently.
I think it would do no harm getting in touch with the make up artist and hairdresser to at least get pencilled in the diary.
Some people plan their weddings like 3 years in advance so I'm sure they will have other enquiries.
