September bridesmaid colour

Hello!
We are getting married next September - and I am yet to have chosen a bridesmaid / decor theme colour.
I really loved cornflower blue, but I wonder if it's too summery for autumn.
Does anybody have any ideas?

☺️☺️

Plums and burgundys?
I think you might be right with the blue being too summery, but ultimately go with what you really love.

Burgundies even Hmm

Cornflower blue is lovely. Faux fur stoles in cream, white or darker blue if it's getting chilly maybe. Cala lillies wrapped in coordinating ribbon.

If you got really, really lucky, the sky is often a lovely clear blue in September (ponders wisdom of matching dresses to potential but far from guaranteed sky colour...)

If you love it I would go for it and perhaps include an autumnal shade like rust or dark gold in the bouquets, with lots of greenery.

My wedding was towards the end of September and I thought it might be more Autumny but it was 24c and I had sunburn at the end of the day! I had a mint green and summary coloured pink/ blue flowers. I would consider sunflowers and purple as a theme if I was doing it now in September.

September is basically summer these days! The last few have been sunny and warm.

I wouldn't say September is autumn either. The weather is often much nicer than July/Aug

Thanks everyone, you've all given me so much more hope! I think I'll go with the cornflower blue, and as PP have said - perhaps add an autumn colour into the floral arrangements just to be in the safe side! 😊😊

Cornflower blue seems just right to me. It's suggestive of an Indian summer, and with a few gold/tawny notes in the bouquets plus nice wraps if chilly you'll be prepared for autumn too. Sounds like a perfect month to get married. 😊
