I can't agree on a colour...

I'm a June 2022 bride and have always loved the idea of having my one bridesmaid in dark green. However, she tried a dress on in a champagne colour and now I'm undecided. Since talking to people about it, most have said that i should stick to the original colour of green (although champagne would still go with the theme). Any advice on how how I can decide without falling to peer pressure from everyone else?

Just another thought, you could always ask your photographer which colour would look better in the photos.

A dark green would be beautiful, but if you want black and white photos it could look black in them. Would you mind that? Equally, champagne could look insipid. Maybe a lighter, softer shade of green would be a good compromise.
