Research - Website for Communicating with Wedding Guests

Hello everyone,

My name is Aoife and I am a final year college student, for which I have to do a development project. I have decided to create a website where a couple can set up all the relevant details about their wedding in relation to their guests.
Guests would receive a link or a pin directly from the couple, allowing them to access the couple's dedicated page. This would allow guests to RSVP, access the food options for the reception (and post any dietary requirements), they could also view the itenary for the day, the seating arrangements, add to a collaborative spotify playlist for the reception...
These are only some really brief ideas that have yet to be fleshed out 100%
I would love if some people could take 5 mins to respond to a survey I have created, I want to get some feedback about the idea!

Here is the link: forms.gle/euug1Taur9apHP1y9

I would really appreciate the feedback, to see if this is a viable option that may be of use to some brides and grooms!

Thank you for your time and help in advance!

Well done on coming up with such a creative idea.

If I'm brutally honest though I expect this will be very well recieved by bridezilla types, but will be a bloody nightmare for guests.

I think I have heard of something similar called AppyCouple or something.

This already exists. DNeice used one but I can't remember the name of it. It was good, though could be improved on.

My husband created a similar website for our wedding - although we didn’t show the seating arrangements, or ask guests to create our music playlist as it was personal to us. Everything else mentioned was included though, plus a few more extras. It was great. I would’ve completed your survey but I couldn’t see a section gaining views from people already married & what they did & or what they would’ve done, so thought I’d add on here.

These already exist free of charge?

@fairydust11 thanks for the feedback, I've tweaked the form a little bit. Can you remember at all what other features were on the site your husband created?

It's a good idea. I married circa 10 years ago and used www.weddingwire.com which was similar. Online invite, messaging, table planning etc.

We@AoifeSully999 I can’t remember all of it but what I can remember is that he created some pages with our love story - basically he did a webpage about how we met, the proposal etc & then another bit about the bridal party & who they were & then another on the wedding & reception venue, why we chose it etc & what it meant to us…there was a bit more but that’s what I can remember off the top of my head. I’ll take another look at your form too
