Sweet 'champagne'

My Mum doesn't like champagne or Prosecco. Is there something sweet but still alcoholic (German?) that could be substituted? Don't want her to have Schloer!

Look for demi sec rather than brut.

CoffeeBeansGalore · 27/07/2021 18:28

Asti Spumanti?

ForCluckSake · 27/07/2021 18:29

Asti is lovely and sweet

Jasmine11 · 27/07/2021 18:31

Why not make her a kir royale or use another sweet liquor?

ISeeTheLight · 27/07/2021 18:32

Add chambord to her champagne.

I also have a sweet tooth and dislike champagne and prosecco. I'd be very happy with a sweet sparkling cider

Have a prosecco bar! Aka, posh cordials like elderflower, Rose and raspberry etc. Bottle green green do some nice ones for maybe £2 a bottle from most supermarkets. Prosecco with Elderflower cordial is so much nicer !!

Kir royale. Good call.

Italian Moscato is the DOC name for sweet sparkling wines like Asti Spumante.
