Registry offices with short waiting lists!

My partner and I want to have a very simple registry office ceremony as soon as possible. Ideally this autumn/early winter, but are struggling to find anywhere that can fit our timeframe, does anybody know anywhere that night have shorter lists?! It'll just be us and two witnesses.

We've already managed our expectations down from wanting Manchester/Stockport or Norwich, but still would ideally like it to be a pretty enough building, just for sentimental reasons, however if we get more desperate we can drop that too.

Any leads gratefully received!

Stanford?

If Manchester was on your options list, I got married at Altrincham Town Hall and it was beautiful.

If you really looking anywhere consider Newbury, West Bekrkshire which is in a beautiful Tudor house - Shaw House.

We got married there in April.

Have you tried Macclesfield? Not sure what the waiting list is like but it's not too far out of Stockport Smile

Old Marylebone Town Hall In London?

Iconic building with the classical frontage of pillars and steps, several ceremony rooms to choose from, beloved by low key celebrities.

Did you get sorted in the end @OrangeElk?

I did, thanks! We got a slot in Stockport which was what we wanted in the first place, notice appointment booked in the nick of time too, very excited!

Hope this thread can be useful for other inpatient people! :D
