Chat to other Mumsnetters on our Wedding forum.

I have a theme for the tables for example shades of colours. Do I have to use a colour name for the top table or can I call it 'the top table'? I need to order the table signs. Can I have options please.

What's your favourite colour? Use that.

I'd use something that fits in with the theme.

Definitely don’t call it “Top Table”. That’s a bit odd. Just give it another name from whatever theme you’re using.

OP posts:

For the top table I'd pick the item from your theme that fits you best or is the best.

So for example. We had our reception at the Trafalagar Tavern and named the tables after ships that had been at trafalgar. Our top table was named after the flagship.
