Wedding and a new baby

We were going to get married, but the wedding was postponed due to covid and I am now 4 months pregnant. We got a new wedding date in 2022 and the baby will be about 6 months old. Is this old enough? I am wondering if I can still do this.

We were never planning a big demanding wedding, we picked a nice venue. It seems they can do it all, like food, drinks, decorations, organise the day/night. It seems that we just need to invite people and sort out the music. Am I missing something?

Do you have any advice about having a wedding with a small baby?

Yes go for it. At 6 months they’ll only be crawling (if that) and still at the small enough and cute age where people like holding them.

Once mobile they do not keep still and life is just harder.

Good luck and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy

Get the details sorted before you have a newborn is my only suggestion

Thank you both! All good advice.

I will get things sorted before it is born. Hopefully it is a quiet and cute baby and people would be happy to babysit :)

I did. Babies (yes 2 of them) were 5 months old.

All hands on deck and they were as good as gold.

It'll be fine! 6 months is such a cute age everyone will want a cuddle, have your pram/buggy to hand when they get sleepy. Imagine how adorable they will look in their little wedding outfit too 🥰
